Perfect! April 8, 2010 Wifey (Maine) While our older two girls are homeschooling, the 2 year old gets very antsy and causes lots of interruptions. This book helped her have her own "schoo-work. She isn't at the stage where she can erally follow the lines for cutting, but she did have fun just cutting at random and did adhere to the more simple cutting lines. Often I held the paper so she could cut the more difficult patterns. Then she pasted the pieces in her school notebook. I got her a few of the Kumon books so she could alternate from one to the other. Perfect! But my expectations were just to keep her busy, not that she'd become a rocket scientist.
Just as good as the original Let's Cut Paper book December 28, 2009 Jen D. (Connecticut) I bought this book for my 4-year old son, who breezed through the first Let's Cut Paper book, and he loved it. The book allows children to cut paper into different designs. Initially, I thought the More Let's Cut Paper book would feature more challenging designs, but this was not the case. The two Let's Cut Paper books are very similar; they merely feature different designs.
Great activities for little hands + a helper December 15, 2009 Sarah Green (New York, NY) This book - this whole series by Kumon - is a great activity for 2+ year olds and an adult. My daughter (2 1/2) loves this book and asks to do something from it everytime she sees it. It has been a huge hit at our house.
Super fine motor fun! February 22, 2009 Isabella E. Bertelli (Staten Island, NY) The Kumon series is so fun for toddlers and parents alike. Activities are truely progresionary and keep little ones focused and interested.
Great workbooks for young kids October 15, 2008 J. Weber (Westfield, IN USA) These Kumon workbooks are great! I find that my barely 2 year old is a bit young for them, but they will probably be appropriate when he is closer to 2 1/2. My 4 year old loves them just as much as the "older" Kumon workbooks. I have used these as an intro to cutting/pasting/printing since he is not attending 3 year old preschool. Turns out they are a great mother/son time together as we work through the pages. The books are progressively difficult so the kids don't get discouraged trying something too hard straight off and then not being interested in subsequent activities.
