Love Them January 5, 2008 P-nutts Mom I love these and all the Baby Einstein Discovery cards. They are durable and my daughter loves looking at the pictures especially at meal times. A valuable learning tool that is fun and interactive...much better then any video.
Great supplement for learning November 26, 2007 A. Ballard (Florida) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
After using the Language Development cards, I purchased these cards as well as a few other sets from Baby Einstein for my 23-month-old. I have been very pleased with the cards for the photos selected for each concept and the quality of the cards. My toddler can play with them and because of the 'laminated' coating, I don't have to worry about them getting destroyed. I would also like to add that I was skeptical of the cards at first, fearing that my child would only recognize, for example, a duck that looked just like the one on the card. This however has not been the case. My child recognizes more things, both verbally and non-verbally (pointing) than I had expected. I would recommend all of the Baby Einstein cards sets. The Language Discovery cards were a great starting point and these Seasons Discovery cards are just as awesome!
(RAW Rating: 4.5) - Year Round Learning January 3, 2006 The RAWSISTAZ Reviewers (RAWSISTAZ.com and BlackBookReviews.net) 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
BABY EINSTEIN: SEASONS DISCOVERY CARDS are a collection of nearly 30 flashcards that offer a wealth of information. Each card consists of a vibrant illustration with the word identifying the item in the photo prominently displayed in bold text. The back of each flashcard contains a wealth of invaluable information for parents. This includes a season icon which identifies which season the pictured image is most typically seen or used. Children can sort the cards by season, using these icons to see if they grouped the cards correctly. The back of the cards also include additional facts about the pictured objects. For example, the icicles card is marked with the winter icon and includes facts like "when the weather gets warm, icicles melt."
The included parents guide, though brief, offers creative ways the cards can be used with children of varying ages. It also provides suggestions for activities that will get children out of the house and into the yard discovering some of what nature has to offer. Eye-catching photos and lots of extras make these flash cards a wonderful learning tool.

While there is some overlap they are good December 2, 2005 Emma (Milltown, NJ) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Some of the pictures are the same as the nature cards but these cards have a value all of their own. I think they are helpful to the pre-k crowd when trying to teach seasons, months, etc. I recommend these despite the other reviewer's thoughts.
panchal July 1, 2005 P. Panchal (Pasadena, CA USA) These cards are great except they say to hand the card to the child because they are durable. They are not durable. We have had the cards for only a week and he has bent a card already. I love them because they have prompts for the adult on the other side and also suggestions. Some of the images could be better options. However they seem a bit complex. I am overall happy with the cards.
