Product Description It?s evening, the day?s craziness is fading, and in bedrooms across the country parents and children snuggle up to read. Even if there?s time for nothing else during the day, there?s always time made for sharing a story. With BRAIN QUEST BEDTIME, parents and young kids can sidle up under the covers and learn about the moon, the stars, owls, and Rip Van Winkle. There is a 50-card full- color deck with stories, poems, over 150 questions and answers?plus jokes and riddles, too?all accompanied by a plush teddy bear puppet. The subjects are calming, related to sleep and nighttime, and encourage the kind of quiet, wondering conversation ("Do dogs dream while they?re asleep??) that?s so important right before turning out the light. Ages 3 - 5.

| Customer Reviews: love minus one star August 2, 2008 girl1999 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I am a fan of the brain quest books. We have my first, threes, preschool, bathtime and now bedtime. I also have 3 of them for 1st grade, math, and kindergarten waiting for her to grow into.
I just wanted to post that it did not go unnoticed that either this particular edition was changed, or the brain quest publishers are cheaping out on us. The books i have are all nice thick card stock pages, which I liked because I can reasonably expect a 2 and 3 year old to use, and the book would take their clumsy "abuse" (not really abuse, but they ARE little kids.) However this particular edition, the pages are practically like glossy paper. No more card stock. I'm docking one star, and I'm very disappointed. It's only a matter of time before a page gets bent backwards and rips off the post.
Other than that the questions are nicely open ended for discussion, and the bear puppet is too cute, even if it's too small for me to get my hands in. (and I'm a mom, and my hands aren't really even that big, so I guess it's made for the kids to talk back, but still.)
Bedtime fun May 16, 2008 Frosty 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This is a great alternative to the regular Brain Quest cards. We have the Brain Quest Preschool cards and my 3 year old knew most of the answers to the questions from the get go. Brain Quest Bedtime has more insightful questions, stories with questions that follow, and some fun filled facts mom didn't even know. Our next purchase will be the Kindergarten cards.
Typicall Brainquest product September 29, 2005 cap61801 (Princeton Area, NJ) 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
I have purchased the My First Brainquest, Preschool Brainquest, Kindergarten Brainquest, and Bathtime Brainquest. This is a typical Brainquest item! I love this series. So far they have all been age appropriate and my 4 yo has learned a lot! My only complaint is that doing these questions before bedtime makes her more talkative and less ready for bed! So now we don't do them right before bed.
